Conclusion and Practical Recommendation on the application of organic mineral mixtures "OMC+"

(based on the results of biological evaluation, performed at the National Scientific Center "O.N.Sokolovsky Institute of Soil Science and Agricultural Chemistry" of the Ukrainian Academy of Agricultural Sciences)

1. The organic mineral mixtures "OMC+" (made by "Airik" Ltd., Kharkov, Ukraine) were made from disinfected dry chicken excrements with added organic components (turf, plant remainders) and mineral additives (ammonium nitrate, superphosphate, potassium-magnesium) in the appointed proportions.
2. The mixtures "OMC+", as the laboratory and analytic results prove, contain from 450 to 600 g/kg of organic matter, nitrogen general from 1.5 to 3.5, phosphate general (P₂O₅) from 1.0 to 3.0%, potassium metathetical (K₂O) from 0.8 to 2.5%, cobalt - 9.0 mg/kg, copper - 30 mg/kg, zinc - 236 mg/kg, manganese - 225 mg/kg and meet the standard requirements of quality for the given type of produce.
3. The distinctive feature of the mixtures "OMC+" is the ability to control its content (broaden recipe) depending on the conditions of their utilization. In case of need the mixtures can have properties of the source of nutritive materials and microelements, or the properties of ameliorator (enhancing), or possess the combination of these properties in the appointed proportion.
4. The mixtures "OMC+" have growth stimulating effect and influence positively the similarity of plants and the energy of their growth and, therefore, the harvest. The increase of harvest as a result of introduction of the mixture:
   • the green mass of corn - 65-115 metric centners per hectare
   • the green mass of soy bean - 30-50 metric centners per hectare
   • sunflower seeds - 2.5-4.0 metric centners per hectare
   • barley seeds - 2.2-2.8 metric centners per hectare
   • watercress - 17-20 metric centners per hectare
5. The method on introducing of the organic mineral mixtures "OMC+": general (for ploughed or dug over soil), presowing (locally), before planting into the hole.
6. The organic mineral mixtures "OMC+" can be recommended for utilization in plant growing, vegetable growing and decorative farming for all types of soil. The mixtures can be recommended for including to the list of agricultural chemicals recommended for application by the Chemical Substances Security Department of the Wild-life conservation Ministry.
7. The recommended doses of the organic mineral mixtures "OMC+":
   • spring and winter barley, wheat, oats, annual and perennial grass - 0.6-2.0 metric ton/hectare
   • corn for grain, green mass and silage - 0.5-2.5 metric ton/hectare
   • soy bean for grain, green mass - 0.5-2.5 metric ton/hectare
   • sunflower - 0.4-2.0 metric ton/hectare
   • vegetables - 1.0-3.0 metric ton/hectare
